Geoffrey Vassallo has spent more than thirty years studying, preserving, and honoring wildlife. He creates phenomenal wildlife art through sculpture, bronze casting, and hand-blown glass. His clientele includes private collectors, architects, interior designers, multimedia advertising agencies, and museums.
He has traveled extensively throughout the western hemisphere and Africa, observing his subjects firsthand and experiencing their spirit.
To Geoffrey, a work of art is incomplete unless the essence of the subject, wildlife, is conveyed not only to the eye but to the heart of the observer. One has to only watch Geoffrey creating his art to immediately feel his passion and dedication.
Inspired by Jacques Cousteau, he learned to scuba dive in order to understand his reef life series better. His reef fish are unparalleled in beauty and context
Geoffrey lives on his ranch in the foothills near Yosemite with his two young sons. They enjoy horseback riding and observing the myriad wildlife in the area. He credits looking through his son’s eyes for expanding his insight into his subjects.
